POLICE HUNT FOR MISSING CASSIE, 14

Police in the north of England have released an appeal to help them find a missing teenager who they believe could have run away to Leicester.

Cassie Emma Pillin was last seen in Kendal, in the Lake District, at about 5pm on Thursday, February 14.

The 14-year-old attends Underley Hall School, in Kirkby Lonsdale, Carnforth, in Lancashire, a residential school for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

A spokeswoman for Cumbria Constabulary said she was believed to be in either the Kendal, Morecambe or Leicester areas.

She said: "Cassie is described as white, about 5ft 4ins tall, of slim build with dark brown hair and brown eyes.

"She was last seen wearing a red vest top, blue jeans, a black-and-white checked jacket and healed boots. She was also wearing hoop earrings, bangles, rings and chain necklaces.

"We understand she has family down in Leicester. This is not the first time she has gone missing."

Anyone who has seen Cassie, or knows of her whereabouts, should call Kendal police on 0845 33 00 247.
