Job Description
Soho, Central London / West End (W1)
Salary:
£28,000 per annum
Job Description:
·Providing help and advice to customers about itineraries, destinations and culture forinternational and domestic packages;
·Handling customer complaints or any emergency;
·Keeping records of discussions or correspondence with customers;
·Collecting, evaluating and responding to customer feedback;
·Discussing with staff and communicating with sales team in China to improve services;
·Writing reports analysing the company’s customer service and competitors;
·Training staff and co-ordinating staff appraisals and reviews;
·Developing customer service procedures, policies and standards;
·Negotiating special offers for main packages;
Building strong relationship with travel suppliers to ensure great services selection.
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
1.At least 5 years working knowledge of all aspects of tour operation including itinerary planning, accommodation and airline booking for tours in UK and from China, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia countries.
2.Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is essential.
3.Bachelor degree in a business and/or finance related subject.
4.Ability to work with a variety of individuals/clients from different cultural background.
5.Equally effective working independently or as a member of a team.
6.Excellent written and verbal communication (English and Mandarin) on phone and in person.
7.Must be vibrant, driven, confident and outspoken.
8.Good writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Initiative, drive and enthusiasm with an ability to work calmly under pressure.
