Overview:
Our client is an electronics manufacturer and global provider technology products. We are seeking a focused and self-motivated candidate with excellent co-ordination skills for an E-commerce Business Assistant position. The applicant must be able to multitask and have strong problem solving skills. Furthermore, they should have a good understanding of LAN/WAN, OSI Model and wireless standards. In addition, previous experience in technical customer support is beneficial.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Handle inbound calls and queries professionally in English (via email and telephone).
Collaborate with the E-commerce Manager to increase business development and identify/resolve any issues with the business strategy.
Produce weekly and monthly sales reports.
Maintain good company knowledge to ensure accurate representation of products and services.
Promoting products and services to potential clients.
Organising product data to maintain correct product pricing.
Helping the design team with online E-commerce visual merchandising duties.
Managing stock for packaging, product sales and disposal (where necessary).
Communicate efficiently with all clients and internal departments.
Product testing in order to localise new product and also provide technical support to the Sales/Marketing department.
Provide regular feedback to clients and build good working relationships.
Perform testing on Beta Products e.g. wireless and cable/modem/3G routers, switches, etc.
Review and monitor online feedback from customers.
Lead unresolved issues/ complaints into the appropriate departments.
Ensure client information and data are kept up to date.
Other ad hoc duties.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be/have:
A bachelor degree in computing networking/engineering/science or equivalent in any discipline (preferred).
Familiar with LAN/WAN, OSI Model and wireless standards (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac).
Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
Adaptable and have the ability to multitask.
Experience in technical customer service. (beneficial, not essential)
A professional telephone and email manner.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment.
Ability to analyse and provide an informed/educated solution for their issue.
Sensitive to numbers and business analysis skills
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office (essential)
