国务院高度重视，全国人民深切关注，抗震救灾工作正在紧张有序地开展。奥运火炬传
递进入境内以来，广大人民群众热情支持、积极参与，表现出了强烈的爱国主义精神。
考虑到目前全国人民正万众一心地投入到抗震救灾工作，奥组委经与江西等省委省政府
商定，奥运火炬从江西境内的传递起将本着安全第一的原则，缩减规模、简化程序、注
重简朴、讲求实效。在火炬接力开始前，全体参与者将默哀一分钟，向在地震灾害中遇
难的同胞表示哀悼。在火炬传递的起点、终点和沿途设立募捐箱，悬挂“一方有难、八
方支援”、“团结一致、众志成城”等抗震救灾标语，把广大人民群众参与奥运圣火传
递的热情与抗震救灾的实际行动紧密结合起来，以爱国主义精神激励全国人民全力以赴
做好抗震救灾工作。
