Bosses at East Midlands Airport are urging passengers to check with their airlines to see if a cloud of volcanic ash could affect their flights.
The eruption of Grimsvotn in Iceland is expected to cause some disruption as ash is blown south over Scottish air space.
The 6.40am departure to Aberdeen has already been cancelled along with the return flight which was due to arrive in Castle Donington at 10.05am.
An airport spokeswoman said: “Passengers travelling to Scotland are advised to check with their airline for the latest information
“All other flights to and from East Midlands Airport continue to operate as normal.
“The airport will continue to monitor the situation very closely and provide further information to passengers should anything change.”作者: Graceshi 时间: 2011-5-24 10:13
