Welcome Letter
Dearest student,
On behalf of the Society, I am very pleased to welcome you to Leicester! The aim of the Chinese Society is to promote the integration of Chinese students into all aspects of University life. We organise different kind of social events such as parties, trips and dinner party, plus the most exciting and biggest event of year - **Chinese New Year Ball **, which are open to all students, and provide a network of support helping new students to cope with University environment.
As well as organising and participating in University based events, we also have links with other Chinese students' organisations around the U.K. We welcome non-Chinese students who are interested in participating in these activities.
If you think University can lead your life to another stage, Chinese Society is one for you! We are one of the most active societies in the Students' Union. So, come and join us at the Freshers' Fair on the 1st and 2nd Oct, 2007 between 11am to 4pm in the basement of Student Union Building (Perce Gee Building), you have nothing to lose! All our committee are very friendly and helpful, and they will help you with signing up!!
