住学校宿舍的话，押金是冲抵第一期住宿费还是其他？
住宿费分三期付款，可以只住一个term吗？
如果接了offer不去住，除了不退押金外还有没有其他违约费用？
请各位前辈指教！

必须住满的，如果提前取消，看取消时间，扣去一定的钱，最多也就150磅。

if you don't live there at all, they may (or may not) take your deposit but they couldn't charge you for anything else if you give them notice that you are not going to move in at all. Please get consultation from student uniion.

只要你提前通知他们说你不会住在他们的地方，应该是没事的

2012年的情况是：8月31日前告诉学校取消住宿合同，扣押金100磅；8月31日之后取消的，扣押金150磅。
