我有，但是中文的，他说所有学生的租户是中国人，最好是使用中文的

Oh my god and you believed him!!! Of course he said that. You are in the U.K. and agreement should be in English. I wonder whether you will be protected by a Chinese contract even if the case present to an English court. You come to this country to learn and this is something you also learnt, unfortunately you may not be able to get your deposit back. You can try to get advice from student union, but again I doubt they can read or accept a Chinese contract. Good Luck

我知道今年有许多黑心师哥师姐想赚钱，成为二房东。我不认为他们这样做是依法律和法规，我很幸运，直接租房东的房子，他说中文，但合同用英文写的。最好是找朋友介绍一个好声誉房东给你。

情况确实不利，不过我的建议是，既然还有别的室友，可以联合大家一起来问那个二房东要钱。他不退你的押金，有一天也会不退他们的。

或者直接跟房东谈。报警不是不可以，中文合同也没关系，市政会有中文翻译人员的。

我不知道房东是谁，我的合同是与二房东签署。我曾问学生会和市政府的意见，均表示我的中文合同是无效的，除非我支付费用将它翻译并由律师验证，这将是昂贵的。其他室友是二房东和他的女友，我能做些什么呢？

Body assault is a crime, please don’t do that. He is not worth it. You come to this country to study and it is not worth to go to prison because of some bad guy. Just treat this as a lesson in life. This is an expensive lesson but you will not forget it.

这种行为应该受到谴责，把你的二房东地址什么的告知大家，让大家都知道也不去租他的房

再次给大家提个醒·~~莱村不知道这两年怎么了冒出了特别多的黑心二房东，摆脱各位学弟学妹们不要那么天真的轻易相信讨厌的中国二房东好吗？每次看到被骗的童鞋们，恨得牙痒额。。。。

veggiehotpot 说的很有道理，你需要和房东摊牌，但是一般这样不太解决问题，我真心建议一下楼主到学校 Welfare office 告诉他们你需要帮助，如果你不知道如何解释我可以私信你帮你写好~~~ 学校会给你建议，如果情节严重会帮你免费打官司。会提交到 small claims court which is deal with any legal issues under 5000 pounds~ 或者你可以和二房东摊牌，如果他还是一意孤行，我希望你别嫌麻烦而放弃你的权利。就因为你们都不去争取，他们才会更嚣张~
