NOTICE ON COLLECTION OF PAPERS OF THE 6th GRADUATE FORUM OF INTERNATIONAL AND MEDICINAL BUSINESS SCHOOL IN CHINA PHARMACEUTICAL UNIVERSITI

The reform of health care system in China has entered into a new stage with the progress of the new health care system reform and the promulation of the essential drug list in 2010. The implementation of the basic medicine system arouse serial new problems and challenges which need further discussion. Due to these reasons, the graduate student union of the international and medicinal business school in CPU will hold the sixth graduate forum in the November of 2010. The related information concerning collection of papers is as follows:

I. Contents of the papers

(I)The theme of the forum: (China) the implementation and improvement of basic medicine system under the background of the new medical reform.

(II)The paper may state from multi-angle surrounding the theme:

1. National drug policy

   The interpretation and prediction of national drug policy、the examination and evaluation of the national drug policy、drug policy of other countries and their revelation to China, and so on.

2. The present progress of the essential drug system

   The popularization and generalization of the essential drug under the background of the Chinese health care reform、the state quo and the future trend of the essential drug system under the background of the new health care reform、the evaluation and suggestion of the effect of the pilot project in the new health care reform, and so on.

3. Explanation of the meaning and definition of the essential drug policy

Selection and foundation of essential drug list、selection standard、index system and evaluation method of the essential drug list. The medicine category that the essential drug list should include and the dispute whether special classification should be enrolled in the essential drug list, and so on.

4.Biding and purches of the essential drug and the mechanism of price formation

The biding and purches standerd of the essential drug and the evaluation of drug effiency、discrepancy and evaluation of the essential drug that are of different price、whether discriminating pricing is suitable for the essential drug and the link between the medicinal standard and price、reimbursement mechanism and reimbursement proportion of the essential drug、dispensing guarantee of the essential drug and the guarantee mechanism of the emergent drug, and so on.

5.The essential drug system and choosing the drug rationally.

The construction of the licensed pharmacist system、the national guidance for the choice of drugs、improvement of the monitoring mechanism of ADR, and so on.

II. Requirements for the manuscript

The coming paper could be in Chinese or English, but should be scientific、precise、creative and instructional to practice. The manuscript in form should include title、author name、abstract (200 words will be appropriate)、keywords(3-5 words), body contents、and bibliographies.

Please write your name on the first page of the manuscript. The writing format is as follow: author, name, department, contact information.

The deadline
Oct. 15, 2010




Evaluation and selection
   Examination of all the papers in the forum will carry out in the way that none of the experts know the author ahead. We will have one person who wins the first-class prize with 1000 RMB($149); 3 persons who win the second-class prize with 500 RMB($74.5); 10 persons who win the third-class prize with 200 RMB($30); and several persons who win the excellent prize.
