Police release e-fit of attacker after robbery in Leicester park

Police have released an e-fit of a robber who struck in a Leicester park.

The 20-year-old victim was robbed by three men in Leicester's Victoria Park.

One took his Blackberry Bold phone and held him while the other two searched him and stole a D&G men's wristwatch and cash.

The attack happened at 6.15pm on Wednesday, March 16.

Police yesterday released an e-fit image of one of the attackers.

Pc James Clayton said: "Although the victim wasn't hurt, he has been left shocked. I urge people to take a good look at the e-fit and contact us if they recognise the man."

All of the offenders were black and in their early 20s.

The man in the e-fit is about 6ft, muscular and has a tattoo on his left upper arm. He was wearing a pink polo shirt and dark jogging bottoms.

The second man is of medium to muscular build and about 5ft 8in. He was wearing a dark hooded top, black woolly bobble hat and blue shiny denim jeans. He may have had a stud in his right ear.

The third offender is about 5ft 8in and of medium build. He was wearing a grey Adidas tracksuit.
