Company description: Orange Ray is a premium international business and marketing service company with headquarters based in London.   We help Chinese companies strengthen their global capabilities throughout various stages of global development. In addition, we provide innovative solutions via e-commerce and related value added services to enable European premium creative and design businesses to grow in China and The Far East.

Since early 2011, we have started a high priority e-commerce initiative.  This initiative will be launching a premium online marketplace in Q4 2011 to help a group of selected European boutique designers and artisans to showcase and sell their brands and range to consumers in China and other international markets.  As the initiative is approaching its launch date, we are looking for more smart and passionate people to our team to meet the growing business need.


Duration: 2 – 6 months  


Allowance: All business related expenses are covered.  And allowance to be discussed


Position description: The position is for Project Director Assistant.  This represents a great opportunity to work in European fashion and art industry along with the exciting Ecommerce industry under the supervision of highly experienced business executives from world-class companies.   You will get a unique chance to be involved in daily operation via working closely with the project directors.  We believe you will get exposed to interesting stuff and learning opportunities in a wide range of areas in this start-up type of initiative.   


Main responsibilities:
•        Generally assist the project director’s daily  work in every aspect from admin to operation
               - Project management
         - Communication with designers
         - Meeting coordination
         - Trip arrangement
•        Help Project Director to coordinate and refine Designer/product information and assist on upload work to e-commerce site when require
•        Support designers to enable their orientation to our e-commerce site and meet our work requirement
•        Attend Designer trade fair or exhibitions with Project Director when need
•        Attend Designer/Artisan meetings with Project Director when need


Main requirements:
•        Young and mature graduates who are keen and humble to grow by doing
•        Strong initiative and follow through skills with attention to details
•        Good interpersonal skills and willingness to go extra miles to do a better job
•        Team work spirit and being highly supportive with a can-do attitude
•        Excellent English in speaking and writing
•        Great Mandarin is a plus
•        Highly comfortable to IT
