Senior PHP Developer - MVC /​ Yii Framework

Location: Leicester

Salary: Senior Developer 35-45k basic

My client are looking for a senior web /​ software developer with experience from within a web technologies, software development or digital media environment preferred.​ You would need to have experience of managing as this individual will be helping to build a team.​

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate your technical experience along with a track record of developing and preferably managing teams and the development of web based cloud located web applications and services.​ Your vertical market (industry related) experience is less important than your technical background, however someone from a manufacturing, digital or print media, product production back ground would be ideal.​

Key skills required:-

- Knowledge and experience in both Microsoft development products ( particularly Microsoft .​NET ) and SQL
- Significant experience in PHP and with an MVC or Yii framework that uses object orientated programming is key.​ Experience of MySQL, Apache and Amazon Web Services development is highly advantageous.​
- In addition you will need to have experience in managing and working with offshore and remote development resources and 3rd party outsource onshore resource.​

In a nutshell, you will need to have well rounded development experience and demonstrate that you can work well in a structured development and project framework.​ Your will have experience in working to formal requirements and the ability to work with Business Analysts and Senior Business stakeholders.​
