关于在法国使馆申请签证，但是行程包括意大利的问题

我和朋友计划放假的时候去法国和意大利旅游，要在法国使馆申请申根签证
法国使馆的网站上关于Proof of accommodation的要求是：
A reservation confirmation issued directly by the hotel clearly stating your full names, the dates of check-in and out, the hotel address and contact details or a Certificate of Board and Lodging ("Attestation d’Accueil") to be obtained by the person you are visiting in France from the local Townhall ("Mairie").

我现在的问题是，我们要从英国飞罗马，在罗马待两夜之后飞往巴黎。在罗马的时候我们会住在朋友家，是否也需要提供朋友的Certificate of Board and Lodging？
还是说只需要提供法国部分的？
