根据Leicester Mercury报道，上周把女生推到河里的其中一个闹事16岁小男孩已经被警方逮捕，大快人心。

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a robbery during which a woman was pushed into a canal.

The teenager has been questioned about the attack, which happened alongside Leicester's Grand Union canal last Wednesday.

An 18-year-old woman who was pushed into the water and a man aged 20 who was kicked and punched, were treated for minor injuries following the attack in Western Boulevard, in the city's West End.

Detectives believe six youths took part in the robbery, taking the victims' mobile phones and a wallet.

Police said yesterday that the 16-year-old had been released on bail.

Detective Constable Damian Young, said: "Although we have someone arrested we are still keen to speak to anyone with information about the robbery, so please don't hesitate to call us.

"We had a good response from the public to our last appeal and I hope that this one will have the same effect.

"Patrols in the area have been increased and officers hope that members of the public will feel comfortable in approaching them if they know anything about the robbery."
