This is a fantastic opportunity with a world player in global commodities in the food industry. The company partners with customers in retail, wholesale and food service to provide consistent supplies of quality foodstuffs in strategic volumes. This role is to support the company’s business in coffee in the far east

You’ll need to understand your customers business drivers and be the solutions provider that wins confidence and continuous business streams.
•You will take responsibility for establishing links and contacts with volume users of coffee in foodservice and retail
•Knowledge of the food industry or an FMCG environment is required and language proficiency in Chinese and Korean is required –Japanese language skills woul be a bonus
•You’ll be self-motivated and able to take initiative to bring in new business and maintain existing contacts.
•You will have presentation skills and
•Able to work to tight dead lines
•Able to meet targets
•A good team player
•Extensive travel required potentially worldwide.
•Ideally you will have 3 years business experience / commercial skills in buying/ selling food products internationally.
•Understanding of finance preferably including international transactions
